Breech loading cannons in Mass.?

What are the laws concerning breech loaded cannons in Mass.? I've read all of 527 CM5 22.00 which regulates muzzle loaded cannons but I can't find anything concerning breech loaded cannons.
I'd like to get a salute cannon that fires 10 guage blank shells but don't want to run afoul of any laws.

I don't know the answer, but since this falls under the Fire Dept, why not drop in and chat with your Fire Chief? That way you will get the straight scoop from the person who issues any permits (if required . . . and since it is MA, you KNOW permits are required!).

By the way, I recently completed all the required safety courses and have applied for my permit to poop and pee in Massachsuetts.

I'd like to think that a signal cannon would be equivalent to an honor guard firing blanks.....but this IS mass.
