For the first time I've bought a rifle off an auction platform,
only guessing what it is:
http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=834137
Appears to be an early Bundeswehr training carbine by Anschuetz,
using the model 54 action; .22 lr single shot.
The scope mount rail doesn't belong there and will likely be
taken off.
Another one to join the Gustloff KKW and the BSW 317k.

Looks like a nice deep plum color on the receiver. Trainer and target 22s have gone up around here lately since people have started collecting them.

Nice find!!!! There are some great buys on the auction sites too.

I have been eyeing the 22 trainers lately too figuring to go in that direction soon too but some of the prices here are out of site.

Yahooooo !

I've picked up the rifle and it turned out to be an early Bundeswehr trainer.[party]
Bolt doesn't match with the receiver's SN, so what.
Needs a bit of cleaning, a front sight hood and some dark oil over a small
repair at the underside of the butt.
It's definitely worth more than what I paid.[banana]
The foolish seller claimed that he had a lot of enquiries for stampings & marks,
but "couldn't answer to them" (2 were from me).
His bad.........

Don't you just love when you get more than you thought you were going to? It's happened to me a couple of times. It's great!
