Well, according to his administration veterans and people who prefer limited government are dangerous so technically he's right. No idea what that has to do with drug dealers in Chicago though - pretty sure they're already breaking a bunch of unenforced laws.

Chicago used their gun registry to essentially ban handguns there since 1982. At the time of the lawsuit there were 8,000 gun owners with a total of 22,000 guns: fewer guns and owners than Boston in a city five times as large.

....And is now the murder capital of the US. 37 people were shot in one weekend: more than in Boston this year.

Yes all the gun haters should leave their cell phones home and take a stroll through the "nice" neighborhoods in Chicago, you know he ones where the kids are turning their life around and see what happens. I will guarantee you they will be gun owners the next day

It seems to me that the politicians are the ones "letting dangerous people" get their hands on guns.

They have gun control laws on the books that rarely get enforced. They let violent criminals out of jail, or plain just walk without jail time. They are taking the peoples inalienable right to defend them selves, and privet property, away by infringing on their right to bear arms. Shelter in place?!? Really?

Washington DC has lost their collective marbles if they think any gun control opponent is letting anyone but LAW-ABIDING citizens have the right to buy, keep, collect, and bear firearms. Washington needs to take a very hard look in the mirror before making such affirmations, because they are the cause and very, very far from the solution.

They may have been godless commies, but the Soviets didn't give visas to millions of moslem terrorists or offer amnesty to 30 million Latin American drug mobsters. They were bad, but not as bad as the Prez.
