Article: Bernie Sanders: Sandy Hook Families Should Not Be Allowed to Sue Bushmaster

Huh. So there is a brain cell in there.
Pity he believes the govt should be able to ban semi auto rifles.
Not that the first brain cell negates the rest of his retardation.

Wow. Much more reasonable than Killary.

Lets take a step back. Did the product that Bushmaster put out work as advertised and designed? If yes, these suits should be thrown out immediately. Just like the PMRC suits were thrown out against Judas Priest.

I'm a little unnerved at the amount of support gun guys are giving this lunatic. If Congress pitches anything anti 2A, he'll hit it out of the park given a chance. Don't forget that for a second....

Sanders responded, “Do I think the victims of a crime with a gun should be able to sue the manufacturer, is that your question?”

The NY Daily News said, “Correct.”

Sanders replied, “No, I don’t.”

I'm a big fan of "take the good from the bad." No, I'm not a fan of Mr. Sanders.

I wish every politician could do this. I'm so tired of direct questions getting responses of "Look, what we need here is blah blah blah I'm not answering the question blah blah..."

Restate the question as you understand it. Answer the question. Move on.

I know, I know--they've been trained to (generally) give non-answers, for fear of losing ANY voters.

I think what makes Bernie so appealing to his followers is that he's so sincere. Unlike Hillary Bernie really believes all that crap he says. As far as guns go, Bernie would be a far better choice that Hillary.

Who was the last socialist who was anything close to better than ANYONE on guns? Socialists fundamentally want them gone from the people's hands otherwise they represent a threat to their system. Don't be fooled and read a little history on socialism

Not a fan of this bozo. But I wish more politicians would rephrase questions like he did.

Question:
“There’s a case currently waiting to be ruled on in Connecticut. The victims of the Sandy Hook massacre are looking to have the right to sue for damages the manufacturers of the weapons. Do you think that that is something that should be expanded?”

He replied
“Do I think the victims of a crime with a gun should be able to sue the manufacturer...?"

He took a question, where his answer would require a lengthy response, into a simple yes or no.
I'm quite surprised he didn't take the bait and submit a long B.S. answer which could be later spun by the media.
