AR-15 Book

I know I have seen several references on the forum to books about the parts, function, build up, & break-down of the AR-15 platform. I, for the life of me, cannot find the specific posts with the references to the books.

I am purchasing my first AR (M&P15) this weekend (thank you fellow nes'r) and would like to get a supplemental book to go along with it. I am new at this so a good "idiots guide" would be perfect.

Any suggestions?

First choice (a must): Kuleck and McKee, "The AR-15 Complete Assembly Guide."

Second choice: Kuleck and Duff, "The AR-15 Complete Owner's Guide."

I believe both Brownells and Midway carry both books.

i have the complete assembly guide. it is a great book and i definitely recomend it

I have them both and they are WELL worth it. I used the assembly guide to put my lower together and will use it when my upper and barrel come in to finish my first build.

I HIGHLY RECOMEND THEM!!
