The wife and I went separate by a couple of months, but I went with her when she interviewed because she wanted me to. The LO doesn't care how you do it, still 2 people to process. No pro or con either way really, except carpooling and moral support?

The flip side of this is if you stagger the applications (by a year or two) if there's a lapse/delay in renewal, the other ltc will still keep everything legal until the first one comes through.

Considering the carry-over provision that is now available to residents (assuming the issuing authority abides by the law and issues the receipt), that is much less of an issue than in the past. Personally, I encourage I everybody in the home who is eligible to take a BFS course and obtain the best firearm credential that they can in a household with guns.
