This is all I could get out of HK USA.......
The year of manufacture can be determined by deciphering the two-letter date code. This code is stamped on the slide, near the serial number and proof markings.
Below is the date coding chart. The letter will correspond with the number.
A - 0
B - 1
C - 2
D - 3
E - 4
F - 5
G - 6
H - 7
I - 8
K - 9
Example KI would be 1998- I have tried on several occasions to get HK to give me the month, but they responded " they do not have access to that info." Go figure-
