Anyone own a Browning BLR lever gun?

I have a .358Win in one of the older, steel framed guns.
Haven't shot it much, but I'm more than pleased with the design and workmanship.
I don't care for the looks of the current alloy framed BLR's, but those who have them seem to like them well enough.
The older ones show up pretty regular on Gunbroker.
FWIW, I've heard the gun described as a "lever operated bolt action".

I've got an old BL22 that I picked up for my kids when they were, well, kids. Neither the kids nor I ever had any problems. Don't use it much right now, but I figure I can start corrupting, I mean indoctrinating them with it in another year or two.

Like jhrosier, I have an older BLR in .358 Winchester. The older ones are more desireable, in my opinion, because the newer ones have the "Lawyer" safety on the hammer and that butt-ugly pistol grip.
Mine delivers excellent hunting accuracy of 1.5-2 MOA with handloads. I had to loosen the screw at the end of the forend before it gave good accuracy. For some reason when that screw is tight, it never shot well. I love the .358. I use 180's-225's on deer. Load up some 250's and your ready for anything in N. America.
I also have a BL-22 that is a blast to shoot.
