Family dog is lost in the woods in NH (Ossipee) and think a thermal scope would definitely help.

Where? My camera saw a small dog this morning at westward shores.

Check whether your local Home Depot or other equipment rental service has Thermal Imagers for daily rental.

Depends on the area. He may also see his jacket 2 weeks from now on a homeless crack head walking by.

I've done this and it works.
