Anti being nominated to head MSP

CC passed due to LePage not signing the bill. It automatically passed on his inaction if I recall correctly.

You don't recall correctly.

A bill allowing state residents to carry concealed weapons without a permit was signed into law by Gov. Paul LePage on Wednesday, making Maine the seventh state without such a requirement.

LePage signs bill to allow concealed weapons in Maine without permits

And it wouldn't matter anyway. Maine constitution says the governor must sign or veto legislation within 10 days of transmittal (excluding Sunday), or it becomes law without his/her signature. It doesn't say "It's becomes Junior Varsity law" if he doesn't sign it. You need a bit more time in Civics class, maybe.

But, anyway, he did sign it. Had a f***ing signing ceremony at the State House and everything.
