Sure, but the QC problems were many. It wasn't exactly a great product. The best thing is Shield 1.0 owner could probably do was to buy two of the things because at least that way you'll have a backup for when one of them was broken from a pin walking out or some other stupid problem.

The other great thing about a shield 1.0 was that you can basically say "well, at least it's not a Bodyguard 380" which is pretty much a hot, steaming turd.

Not a bad pistol once you're done mailing it in for the gunsmith to finish building it.
