Another convert

A friend just called to tell me about his trip to FSG to buy a mini 9
of some sort and to bring in his 226 (busted takedown lever).
Well I guess he was reminising about shooting my smith 1911. Well he
ends up buying this 2 tone sc commander size. The 1911 trigger strikes again!
Any way, does anyone have any info on the 2 tone? Carl at FSG says smith is'nt making them any more, so I fig'd there is'nt any
thing on their site,so,,,where else might there be a vast wealth of info I might tap?

Well as the guy whose holster is heavier (but wallet lighter) all I can say is I love the 1911. I tried the M&P at the S&W store alongside this one over the weekend and am very happy with my decision.

That was a beautiful gun.
I'm a little jealous. I love 2 tone 1911's.

I think he got the gun in the upper right corner of the display case. It was the 1911DK (Doug Koenig)

It's funny you know where that gun was situated in the gun store... ha.
