Make a hole in the pocket of your pants and walk around the local mall with a soon to be empty pocket full. Sit on one of those couches and enjoy the fun. You may even get a tickle as they slide down your leg and out the bottom of your pant leg as a bonus lol.

I'd definitely put it in the regular trash. Just make a bunch of copies of your LTC and put those in the trash with the live ammo. That will speed up the investigation a bit.

It sat at my mothers house for 18 years and 1 in 3 fail to fire with multiple restrikes.

Try another rifle/pistol. The problem may not follow the ammo...

Do you have a semi auto pistol that is anywhere similar to your carry gun? Good for malfunction drills. I have a few 1911 magazines that I got for $5 and they suck. Great practice to clear jams.
