Am I stupid for wanting this?

Local gun shop has a Colt AR carbine. I already have an early Colt SP1, but his one has nicely lettered on the right side of the mag well "RESTRICTED MILITARY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPORT" or something like that. One of those made during the ban, with 1/7 barrel and all pre-ban features. The pre-ban features I really don't care about, but I want that receiver.
Stupid or what?

It would be a neat one.

I'll admit one of the reasons I bought the LMT I have over some of the others available at the time was the crossed ARs on the receiver. But I was only buying the lower so it was a bit cheaper.
