You guys must be getting tired of this... $225 at a Yard Sale.

It's a fairly nice one, too. 1942 Husqvarna M38 Swedish Mauser Carbine.

Thanks for looking.

He belongs on that show "Downeast Dickering" or whatever it's called. For real, who else finds P.08's and Swede Mausers and such at yard sales?! [wink]

A little yard sale hint. If you don't see what you are looking for, then ask. This one was retrieved from the house.

Going to flea marts over here I keep an eye out for tables with buck antlers etc.. This is often a sign of heirs selling off
a deceased hunter's stuff. Asking for the 'interesting things' sometimes leads to an off-site gun/ammo/accessories haul.

I hate you.

Just kidding, nice find! Everytime I see one of your threads all I think is that I have to be doing something wrong haha

Nice rifle at a great price! I'd expect that to be about $400 at a shop (I'd expect it to be $400, but it'd probably be $500+). Nice score.

The stock looks like it's elm, which is fairly rare. Handguard looks beech, but the straight grain on the stock looks like an elm Swede I once had.
