After market stocks for Savage

I'd like to put one of the synthetic Choate stocks on my Savage 93R17 FVSS. I was going to sell the rifle and get one of the target stock models in 17hmr but lack of interest from the for sale post has made me decide to keep it and see what I can do for a new stock.
I'd like to put a Choate sniper style stock on it because the weight is nice and they look and feel good. I see the ones listed for Savage short action rifles but I don't know what the 93R17 is considered, plus I doubt its built like the larger caliber Savage rifles.
Anyone have any info on aftermarket stocks for these 17hmr rifles?

I find the Choate too heavy for my tastes. I bought one for my Rem 700 but put the factory stock back on.
I have a Savage that came with the flimsy plastic factory stock and was very sensitive to the slightest change in foreend pressure. I got the laminated stock for it from Savage and it is very nice. IIRC, it was less expensive than the Choate.
