Groveland Women Find Intruder In Bedroom

(CBS4) GROVELAND Two women in Groveland shared a frightening experience on Tuesday night. They both awoke and found a man in their bedrooms. The suspect fled in both incidents. Police are unsure if there is a link to similiar attacks in Haverhill and Lawrence.

In the first incident, the woman awoke around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday as the suspect pulled down her bedcovers. The woman's teenage son chased the man out of their Elm Park home.

The second incident happened on Baldwin Terrace about an half-hour later. The woman woke to a man grabbing her throat. She was able to call 911 and the suspect ran off.

A concerned friend sent me the link and wanted to be sure it wasn't my house. He figured it wasn't, because the story said that the suspect fled, not bled...

Needless to say, I will be carrying around the .45 for the foreseeable future...
