dicks sporting goods runs a sale about every other week...a case of 500 rounds costs about $80 after taxes...its the best deal around
I've looked all around online and I've never found prices good enough on 9mm to go through the trouble ordering it. (Being a Mass subject, I have to ship it to a friend in another state.)
I just buy the WWB at Walmart - 100 for $15.
WWB in 100-round packs is still a good buy at Wally World - the Dicks out here is lame-city when it comes to ammo - only Ultimax available in quantity. As far as buying from "Big Box" - to each his own. Dealers are my prefered stop, however I refuse to pay for ammo that's priced close to gouging....The same WWB only in 50ct at my local FFL is 12-bucks - 24 cents a pop....ludicrous.
Please allow me to preach for a moment:
Just don't go to Mall*Wart or Dick's! We oughtta be supporting the local guys, my friend! I'd rather pay an extra 50 cents to keep the shops open where you get service, advice, and reliability.
The cheapest I've found is $7.50 for Independance brand at Tombstone in Brookfield.
Sorry, but I can't resist an open opportunity to rant against Walmart for any reason...
If it was just only $.50,I would support local dealers..Unfortunately,it's usually a lot more than that.I'll buy my stuff where it's the cheapest,be it in NH,WalMart, or online.
If Walmart decides they don't want the competition from local gun shops in a certain area anymore they will sell their shooting products at a loss for about a year or two and then jack up the price when the little guys are gone. I'm not saying they are doing that here and now but that is how they are known to operate. I have a real problem giving my money to a blood sucking pack of thieves like those un-American vampires at Mallwart. Sorry to ram my own idea of morality down your throats like that but I have strong feelings on the subject and it's hard to restrain myself. I'm a working man and a union member and this globalistic shit only exploits hard working people who deserve more dignity and a better life.
Whew!
yeah me too. seriously.. and please post the law where it says its legal to ship ammo to MASS. i would like to see that with a refferenced legally documented page. if it were legal a lot of us would have been buying long ago. its not because of sales tax its because the law is no ammo is to be shipped to MASS period. If i am incorrect please refference chapter and section. I have been looking for a long time, and yet to find some one who will ship to MASS. could there be a reason for this? i am not trying to you for saying that.. i just want to know.

1st off, there are shops selling 20 rd defensive ammo boxes for almost the same price that Four Seasons sells the SAME AMMO in 50 rd boxes. Oh yeah, the difference is that the 20 rd box is a nice looking plastic box (which definitely cost money) vs. the 50 rd paper box.
Caveat emptor!!
So Rusty I suppose you think socialist labor unions who support gun grabbing democrats and hurt every business in this country are more “American” then a capitalist company that makes lots of money and that NOBODY is forced to shop at or work for.
