4 FTF per calander year or???

Is it 4 FTFs (FA-10s) per calander year (reseting every Jan) or it just 4 transfers in a given 365 days?

You are permitted up to four FTF sales per calendar year.

Keep in mind if you are buying guns, or having them given to you, there is no limit on how many you can buy or receive via an FTF.

Thanks for that tidbit Cross-X. I thought the limit was 4 regardless of whether you were buying or selling. Cool.

The unintended consequence of this law is to all but encourage rabid collecting via private transfers. The only trick to this is finding sellers who have not yet used their four private sales per year.

Some folks here on NES are rumored to exhaust their four private sales within days of New Year's Day.
