my 4" GP100 had like 0.010 of endshake from the factory. it shot itself to crap after ~300 rds. the hand and ratchet were completely smashed up. pretty funny. thankfully Ruger gave me a full replacement gun from the 4" blued model -> 6" stainless.

OP- watch the endshake on your revolver. if it seems to be increasing would consider getting on Ruger for that. they don't seem to pay attention to their own specs these days, perhaps taking the cue from S&W!

I was in that camp. Then I picked up a cheap glock ($600 g26 gen 4) by mass standards on a whim.

I have a few glocks. Nothing special except mag capacity. And preban mags are stupid expensive
