YBviking here- new member and one of the lucky winners.
Just wanted to say thank you to NES, to the donors and the NES community.
I had heard much about this forum- and had been lurking for a bit. When I came across the promo, I realized there is much more to learn here, much more to participate in and there was no reason I couldn't be an active participant. It is apparent that all who post here are proud of our heritage and our sport...and like another poster said..we all seem to be of like minds here.
Still havent posted to any of the discussions yet...but give me time, i'll warm up.
There seems to be some good karma about this place- and it's already rubbing off on ..me...and the Mrs- she's about to benefit from the 'prize' won in the promo (shhhh....dont' tell her, its a surprise) as I already have my LTC.
Looking forward to meeting folks in person at some of the events. Not sure where me and the lad (he's 11, fair at pistol, deadly at sporting clays) will decide we like doing the most..I'd like to do everything, but there is only so much room in the safe....har..har....
