Our CERT was doing some Active Shooter training with the PD a few months back in Nashua. We had a 11pm-7am training block but all the units were busy responding and didn’t make the training, leaving us with nada to do. We were talking about hitting that Denny’s about 3am but decided “bad idea”.

"NASHUA, NH — Two people were shot outside of Denny’s Restaurant on Gusabel Avenue on Sunday in a strip mall containing several businesses, including retail stores, restaurants, and a casino.

Nashua Police, Fire, and AMR ambulances responded to the scene just before 3:30 a.m. for reports of more than one person shot. Police secured the scene and began providing medical treatment to two people until fire and AMR arrived.

Details are limited at this time, but two people were taken to local hospitals with gunshot wounds, according to police."

what New England needs is some Waffle House locations.

You have not seen sh*t go down after last call ( or pretty much any time of day) until you have spent some time in a Waffle House.

Unfortunately for most of you the closest one to MA is almost 300 miles away

There are a few sketchy characters around that area after dark.

Some parts of Nashua near there have a lot of drug abuser/homeless types. I've seen a handful in that specific mall area.

I love the Waffle House in Stephens City, Va. It’s just off Exit 307 and I usually stop there on my way to my future home in Tennessee. I “forget” to read the no guns sign at the door. Staff is nice.

Waffle House is the GOAT of after hours shenanigans.

The author, Steven "Kelly" Grayson, is a critical care paramedic in Louisiana, and also writes non-fiction.

Years back I attended an IDPA match at Nashua Fish & Game. There were a few Nashua cops on my squad. I heard one of them say to the other, “I heard you had some excitement last night?” The other officer responded in a bored fashion, “it was NHI”.

It took me a while to figure out that NHI meant no humans involved (aka, gang bangers shooting gang bangers”.

Not the same thing, but it has potential.
On 38, not too far from the Motel 6 and WalMart in Tewksbury.
If the Motel Caswell was still standing, it would have the trirecta.

I have been to a few Waffle Houses down south with no excitment happening.

Also, I have been to that Denny's a lot as I used to live about 4 Blocks away from it.

You need to be there after last call when people come in to eat some food before drunk driving home.

Best show I ever saw at a Waffle House outside of Greenville, SC in fall of 2020 during Covid. Drunk skinny white dude going at with a plus sized black woman. White dude never stood a chance.

Not at Denny's, not even in the Denny's parking lot.
Patch -"A person working inside Denny’s during the incident said that a disagreement began inside, and the people were removed from the restaurant. The shooting occurred in the parking lot and the witness said that the people involved in the incident were adults, the witness estimated the victims were in their 30s."

Waffle House management has not yet figured out that going on national media and declaring that guns are not allowed in WH is an invitation to criminals.
Yet no WH has a gun buster sign. Local managers refuse to put up such signs.
Just ask any anti-gun acitivist if they will put a Gun Free Zone sign on their homes. They always say "no."

On a street and not the parking lot. It's still not clear whether or not those inside were the shooters or the shootees or who is who in the canoe as they say.
