10/22 m1 Carbine stocks maybe in production soon

There is a thread that got started on rimfirecentral about m1 carbine stocks for 10/22 (after I posted some photos and questions of the build I was working on), and now the guys who produce the 10/22 M1 Thompson ("fun gun") kits are talking seriously about producing a stock which is m1 carbine on the outside, and 10/22 on the inside. Apparently the stock manufacturers are kind of backed up, and they haven't worked out the details for the barrel band and sights, but this will be really cool when they get a product out.

They already make a Thompson and MG42 version, M1 carbine would be cool

That's pretty cool. I have had that same idea myself - to try and adapt a 10/22 into an M1 carbine stock. I would definitely buy one of these.

I see a problem with mags though. It will look dumb with a 10/22 mag though.
