My nephew has recently rented some business space for detailing cars and MC's. I'm seriously thinking if renting a small space from him and applying for an 01. Any good sites that outline the procedure out there?

The best place to look is BATFE themselves. Try contacting one of the local licensing reps, there's one in CT. You'll find the regular people at BATFE very helpful. Don't bother with the folks that advertise in SGN, they're just going to give you the same stuff as ATF does.
