Zumbo didn't have a slip of the tongue.

He revealed a deeply rooted thought process that placed his class of firearms owners (hunters) on a different plane than all others.

He indicated a willingness to rob others of their rights as long as the rights of 'legitimate hunters' were left alone.

You don't un F*-up a mindset by having a chat with Ted Nugent.

Exactly. The dollars may make your mouth speak a different set of words but the mush in the head behind that mouth most likely is still full of the same pieces of crap that were in there before.

The major problem I have Zumbo type Fudds is that they will chuck "assault rifles" and the people who own them under the government short bus to save their own hides and their 'sporting' rifles, by trying to lump black rifles into some demonized classification that makes them "terrorist weapons". And that implication of calling them "terrorist weapons" - is that their owners are going to use them to go out and just kill for no reason. But the Fuddies - who have their nice little laquered and gold leafed "sporting" rifles - are the ones who are actually out there killing stuff left and right, and large majority of black rifle owners in this country own them...... because they want to be able to defend themselves and not get killed.


It seems cosmically ironic that the the chosen rifle of those who want to honor the intent of the 2nd Amendment are demonized - while the actual killers get to do the demonizing.

I'm glad Zumbo got punched in the face - I recall that weekend and what happened to him and how the whole thing spread pretty well. It was a great thing to behold.

You are right you dont, but if you get metophorically slapped upside the head hard enough (godsmacked)sometimes, if you have half a brain, you wake up and smell the coffee. Teds education of Zumbo came after that crushing blow. Teds talk just clarified the reasons he F#@$ed up and gave him greater understanding of a whole suject he was sorely uneducated about.
