Is anyone here firing blanks and dummy grenades out of their Yugo 59/66 SKS'? I saw a link posted here a while back mentioning Israeli practice rubber grenades, blanks, and the Yugo 59/66 SKS. Seems like a lot of fun, but at a 100 yard range, I'm wondering if the rifle's grenade launching sights are accurate enough to use when launching one. I'd hate to plunk down the cash for a rubber practice grenade and launch it over the berm into the bushes and never find it.[thinking]

A fellow that I know launched one straight up, just once.
Alchohol was a factor.
It landed a few feet away and went through the patio.

Here you go - everything you wanted to know about SKS practice grenade launching, but were afraid to ask:

Check out the videos of actual launchings. Site also includes a link for the grenade launching "blanks" he uses. Looks like fun!

I got my dummy rifle grenade from Numrick for a decent price.

I have a couple M1A2 Projection Adapters. I have yet to try and lob them down range though.
