Yaya! I canned stuff again.

How large of a pot do you cook your batches in? I really guess I just need to buy bigger pots.
 
Go to Big Lots or Ocean State Job lot. We picked up 4 different sizes of stock pots and they were fairly inexpensive. We have ranging from small to really big.
 
For those of you who are volumetrically challenged.....

25 lbs ground beef
18 lbs tomatoes
10 lbs of onions

Comes out to be about 30 quarts. And a bit too much onions for chili.
 
Ok, it's 29 quarts, and a cost of ingredients of $2.49/quart and 4 hours, plus I still have another 30 minutes or so.
