XS Big Dot Sights??

Looking to toss the fiber optic sight on my M&P and I'm considering the XS Sights tritium bigdot. This is primarily a defensive gun and I'm looking for something that will allow me to quickly acquire the front sight in any situation.

Anybody have em? Like em? Hate em?

I've got something similar on my XD. Henie Straight 8 Slant Pro. Same idea. Stacking two dots on top of each other. I like them. Would have gotten the big dot in front if I had the option at the time.

Had the small dot on my 1911 and loved it, I will add to current weapons as money becomes available!

I ran the XS on a Glock 17 for a several months. Excellent for close quarters -to 10 yards or so but for me, they lacked greatly for precision beyond that. I've gone back to contrasting fiber optics.

I've got the XS Big Dot on a full size M&P 9 that I keep as a bedside gun. Its really easy to pick up and I like it for self defense. Works great in low light. It does however take up a lot of target, even at close range, so its not the best if you want to shoot it a bunch with any precision. No issues with holsters either - fits in both my c-tac and m-tac with room. It was however a bitch to put it. Required quite a bit of filing to fit the dovetail. Ended up just smashing it in with a brass punch so I won't be changing it any time soon.
