It was raining out and wet so there are rain drops and dew forming on the cold steel, but that is it in the finished form. The looped mag is period accurate, and this gun would have looked like this when handed to the officer it was issued, save the ground off "Property of the US Government".
BTW: I left them at sufficiently high res so you can see the detail of the prancing horse and the inspectors stamp.
