What do all those things mean? BG, SHTF, LPK, BCG
Being a long time shooter(25+ years) but a relative noob to this forum I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread which defined some of the terms that are pretty much taken for granted by the forum veterans.
I'm sure it might provide us a few laughs as well And it might be a chance to create some new ones.

AD = accidental discharge
BG = Bad Guy
BCG = Bolt Carrier Group

Awesome compendium. Hadn't seen that. SWMBO is one of my favorites...

Don't forget the derivatives, like "whiskey tango foxtrot" and "lawl" (which is a homonym of an acronym)
