Wilcox Industeries LAM for MK23

I have an opportunity to purchase a MK23 with a Wilcox Industries LAM.
Does anyone have any experience with Wilcox equipment, i.e. what type of batteries, life of batteries, visibility of laser and light, durability of the unit etc...?

I bet a few people on HKPRO have them.

You won't see me buying one, though... depending on the version you get, it may cost you more than the gun itself costs... I guess I just have an aversion to buying a light/laser that costs more than 50% of the value of the gun it's attached to.
