The muskox was reintroduced into Alaska. Then this happened.

"A state trooper in Alaska died Tuesday afternoon from a wild animal attack outside his home.

The agency reported Court Services Officer Curtis Worland was fatally attacked by a muskox after trying to scare a group of them away from a dog kennel by his home, which was near the town of Nome.

Worland, who was in his 13th year of service, was declared dead at the scene"

"In 1930, the United Stated Congress allocated funds to reintroduce muskox to Alaska. The goal was to domesticate the animals and find profitable ways to use them."

Yikes.........unless you have a big rifle handy for that type of thing............like my dad would always say" your ass is grass"

No idea they were there.
Yup, I remember reading about Fred Bear hunting them with a bow and arrow on the Tundra. If you would get close to the group they would circle up facing you with their horns ready charge. Nearly making it impossible for a bow shot with them all together like that.
