What's my best option for heating if the power goes out?

Haven't read the last few pages of this thread but I was in Lowes yesterday dick-docking around the propane area and I saw an "indoor safe" propane heater. Worth looking into I'd say.

A couple people on other sites have recommended the Mr. Heater as well. Unless anyone has anything bad to say about it, I think it may be the short term solution. Long term (maybe by next winter, if we're still here) will be buying a small generator. Long term solution is definitely a fireplace and a more energy efficient infrastructure. Hopefully we'll be about to build...
