After more than a year without a permanent police chief, Weymouth law enforcement has a new leader.

Mayor Sue Kay has tapped Lt. Richard Grimes as the town’s next police chief, choosing the Marshfield resident from a pool of seven applicants who participated in a state Civil Service assessment.

Does anybody know the new chief and how he stands on the 2nd Amendment?

I guess if he is new to the town, applicants for LTC's will post eventually, hopefully he will be green.

Green is a good color when it comes to gun ownership, and many other things.
