quick shooting, the leader who took the first three had to go to a hospital or die soon. at 33 is he looking for another mag?

Criminal 1 did get off a couple of rounds also. Can't see if the passenger was hit or the driver. When he flinches back against the wall he also fires down at his own foot/leg.

The good guy looked like he was wearing a uniform of some sort, based on the reflective areas under the IR illumination.

BG #1 looked to have gotten a shot off before taking a few himself. He definitely ran off holding something like he had been hit pretty good.

From what I've read, The guy in the car is a cop. The lead guy took 3 rounds and died. Another wounded but lived.
Notice how they were waiting patiently in their car for the door to close. A smart guy. He likely saw them lurking around and was on alert.
He was ready when the guy opened his door.
A good example of situational awareness.

You'd be surprised how many hits a human can take even with larger calibers.

Exactly. Still surprises me that this isn't common knowledge. Pistol rounds almost never drop someone that's in the middle of an action unless it's a CNS hit. Most of the stories you see about defensive shootings go something like "BG was hit 1-4 times, ran out of the house/business, and collapsed a block away". Also statistically only 1 in 10 people shot with a handgun die. Even if those were three decent hits, if they were FMJs (even .45s) there's a perfectly good chance the BG lived.
