Utah man found guilty of selling semi-to-auto kits

If what he sold is below, then I have no clue what he is selling and how it works. It looks like the devices I use to connect my whiteboard to my cube wall.

Spikes and BCI sell lowers that RDIAS and RLL can still drop into, should you happen to own a registered DIAS or LL.

there is a vid on links and DIASes, it's not drop in perfect to have it run smooth from the getgo and may require some finagle. Basically, there is more expertise required than what ATF claims it to be, i.e. drop into any AR receiver and you are full auto.

This is blatant bullshit, not that different from 80% or simply buying a barrel that's close in diameter to some common thread dimension to fit an oil filter. There is no logic in ATF decisions or ruling, just spreading fear and terror.

Sounds like he talked himself into cuffs by talking to buyers about FA and it being illegal. Should've kept it at "don't know anything about FA, just selling strips of aluminum".
