UltraStar .40

is anyone familiar with Star Fire Arms? i have an UltraStar .40 which from what ive been able tell are fairly hard to find, even harder to find are parts and magazines. ive looking for awhile now for a couple spare magazines with no luck. any suggestions? also need new sites which are obviously easier to find but any reccomendations?

if i remember the star line of guns were made in spain but i am not 100% sure as its been over 30 yrs since i owned one. i found it hard to get magazines back then too and i also found out that the gun would not function 100% either so i got rid of it and never looked back.

Star Firearms were made in Spain and imported by Interamrs. IIRC, Interarms went out of business many years ago. I own all three Firestars; 9MM, .40 and .45 as well as a PD.

Correct they were made in spain and anything to do with is tough to find. But i disagree as to the reliability, ive never had any issues with it what so ever and its compact design makes it a great carry gun.
