I will be taking a family road trip from Florida to Maine making stops in DC and then on to New England. Due to restrictions in the various places we will be visiting I will not be bringing a firearm, I will not be bringing a collapsible baton (illegal in DC and I read of people being arrested for them in PA and MA despite that they are legal in those states), I will not be bringing an edged weapon over 2.5" long (I read that is the maximum length allowed by the City of Boston).
I do plan to carry pepper spray. From what I read, I believe that as a non-resident of the States that have restrictions in place regarding the purchase of pepper spray, I can carry a small canister of pepper spray for defensive purposes.
Anything you forum members can add or correct me on with regard to my travel and the preparations I'm making would be most appreciated.
