The Trap Committee of Southborough Rod & Gun Club will be hosting the Annual Turkey Shoot on Sunday, November 24, with the first shot at Noon.

Course of fire: Trap Singles (16 yards). 1/9 of the birds will be Green Turkeys (random loading). Most turkeys per round wins; in case of a tie, higher score wins; in case it's still tied, rock, paper, scissors.

This is a great event, as the A-level Trapezoid may get fewer random greenies, and the lower-average shooter may get the bird! [laugh]

Winner of each round gets a turkey; runner-up, a can of cranberry sauce.

The Main Event will be the Big Turkey Shoot-out. This will be at a Handicap yardage based on acclimation, and "Poaching" of green birds will be allowed. A BIG turkey will be awarded, and the title of "Big Turkey" for the year.

This event is open to all, so come on out, and get your Thanksgiving dinner!

See you at the Top of the Hill....and bring a friend!

We'd like to extend our thanks to all who attended the shoot, today, braving the biter, biting wind, and the !@#$%^&* birds that would not stay still [laugh]

Congratulations to :

Big Turkey: Russell Pearson
Little Turkey: Joe Luckner
Mr. Sauce: Chris Molinaro

Good shooting!
