Took the 99.5 year old M17 DA S/W .45 to the range today. Getting colder now; 42F, 30 rounds WWB, 45 feet, all double action. Big frame helps dampen the recoil. It's a bit big to carry, but still conceals wearing my WW2 reproduction Victory shoulder rig.

So much fun to shoot, I'll probably pull my WTS and keep it.

Tight group.
How comfortable is the holster?
I've been debating getting a shoulder holster and a 4'' revolver for the cooler months.

It's stiff as it gets little use. The M17 is heavy and pulls on the neck. The Victory is lighter and more comfortable. Decent holster for under a coat.

Since it looks like I'm keeping this, when I first posted this, someone mentioned plastic or vinyl moon clips. The metal ones are a pain, you need the tool, and there's the real danger of cutting yourself.

Anyone know of such a product?
