Bought my first AR last December, and already have ~6,000 rounds through it. Only bought 20 rounds, the rest have been reloads. I still have two of those factory rounds marked that I use as set up rounds, when setting my dies.
I have been going through 400-600 rounds per session, so it goes fast.
