I love the Ruger 10/22 and have owned 3-4 over the past 20 years and helped friends build a couple more. In all my hanging out at rimfirecentral.com they alway talked about Kidd Rifles being the best and I decided to check them out at Welcome to Kidd Innovative Design - Why Be Average? (830) 557-KIDD(5433) .

I spent hours going over the options, talking with their customer support and finally zeroed in on this model:

I mounted a Leupold VX-2 Rimfire 3-9x33mm EFR with the custom dial system and headed to the range. It took awhile to get use to the two stage 12 oz/12 oz trigger but it shoots like a dream. I'm still working on setting the scope but these are two 50 yard 5 shot groups after half an hour of shooting:

Now you are asking yourself what kind of nut pays $1400 for a .22 and another $500 for scope and rings? Well I'm having loads of fun at 6 cents a shot and have no excuses left. I'll post more as I spend time with this beauty, but I'm very happy right now

I have a 10/22 with the same barrel you have and all kid internals. Mine is on more of a sniper style stock. I have been 100% satisfied with their parts the the accuracy of my rifle. And it eats bulk pack which is a plus.
