I think we need a thread to acknowledge the shops that didn't jack prices yesterday in the midst of the rush. I would love to out the shops that did jack the prices, (one shop I visited was charging $125 for Anderson lowers [rolleyes].) However, rather than focus on the negative, I'd like us to focus on giving a shout to the shops that did right by us.

I only visited two shops yesterday, but MFS didn't jack up any of their prices and although the shop was crowded beyond belief, Steve and the staff did a good job managing the stress of the situation. I know they have taken some heat for "the interview," but when it mattered, they did right by the customers.

Who else?

I grabbed an AR yesterday at Paper City Firearms in Holyoke, and even though the shop was jammed with people doing the same, Pete and Marshall were selling out of their ARs at the same price they've had them for all week, since I was shopping them even before all of this went down. Kudos to both of them and their professional performance during a hectic day!

Stopped into Sportsmans Den in Quincy and although they only had to ARs left, everything looked to be selling at original pricing. Ron is a good guy, and I hope he makes it through this mostly unscathed.

Mass Firearms School stayed open till midnight, kept the same prices, and kept the atmosphere fun. I will be buying a lot more guns here rather than somewhere else.

Mass Dealers are going to be hurting. Hard. Think about what portion of their profits come from these life-saving rifles...

Any problems with delays? How would that work if you got delayed a day or 2 and wanted to buy an AR??

WTF is the point of starting this if your afraid of outing a shop that took advantage of people and raped them? You said you would love to THEN DO IT are you worried someone will get offended lol. STOP WORRYING ABOUT BEING OFFENSIVE AND TAKE A STAND!!!!!!

X2 Sportsman's Den is a good shop with good prices. Ron & Joe take care of their customers. I heard Outback Arms sold out last night..buyers were grabbing 3 at a time at the price of $2k each and up.

I'll wait for some confirmation that their misguided interview dismissing MA gun laws as ineffective on the subject of "assault weapons" wasn't directly responsible for yesterday's events.

Papercity firearms left the usuall price $670. Personal defense specialist opened up the shop for me to Come buy his 2 last lowers $80. R&R when I called told me they had lowers and were charging $140 and then made a statement saying they complied right away which I know isn't true.

Not worried about being offensive. Those shops can kick rocks for all I care. My goal with this thread was to highlight the shops that didn't gouge. I'll think about starting another thread later cursing the gougers to the depths of the deepest pit in hell you can imagine.

From what I saw, a delay was as good as a denial last night, since the shops had to finalize the transaction yesterday.
