i also notice that language evolves, gets more technical and way more specific.
they are getting to where they want to be, that`s for sure. and they know that there cannot be any resistance from the population deep in the economic slavery. no one can afford to lose a job, mortgage, credit line and bank accounts over any moral standards issues.
they know that 99.9% will bend over and cry, and for the 0.01% that may try to resist they have enough terror force to handle.

the absolute greatest achievement of american communists and socialists is that they made everyone to believe firmly that none of them longer exists.

they took lessons from mccarthyism era to the heart, and they learned very well that calling black white and outright denying obvious facts works just fine, if it is repeated countlessly and enforced into the subliminal level, to make a joke out of anyone who even tries to mention it.

so even when they all show up in mass to do a standing ovation to comrade xi and clean up all the shit from the streets to show him how great things are - it is still, well, perceived just as an innocent of a gesture as it can be.

WHAT FIREARMS ARE REGULATED?​

Protects Americans’ Second Amendment Right
  • The GOSAFE Act protects Americans’ constitutional right to own a gun based on a firearm’s established use for self-defense, hunting or sporting purposes.
  • The GOSAFE Act accomplishes this by including exemptions based on maximum ammunition capacity according to a firearm’s individual class: a rifle, shotgun, or handgun.
  • This capacity must be “permanently fixed” meaning the firearm cannot accept a detachable, high-capacity magazine that would increase the number of rounds that can be fired before reloading and make reloading easier.
Exemptions include:
  • .22 caliber rimfire or less firearms
  • Bolt action rifles
  • Semi-automatic shotguns
  • Recoil-operated handguns
  • Any rifle with a permanently fixed magazine of 10 rounds or less
  • Any shotgun with a permanently fixed magazine of 10 rounds or less
  • Any handgun with a permanently fixed magazine of 15 rounds or less
Limits High-Capacity Ammunition Devices
  • The GOSAFE Act limits a firearm’s ability to inflict maximum harm in a short amount of time by directly regulating large capacity ammunition feeding devices.
  • The bill would limit the number of rounds that large capacity ammunition feeding devices are permitted to carry to 10 rounds of ammunition or fewer.
  • Additionally, the GOSAFE Act makes conversion devices, including bump stocks and Glock switches, unlawful.
Improves Public Safety Response & Protects Law Enforcement
  • The GOSAFE Act will force would-be mass shooters to reload their guns more frequently — giving people time to flee and law enforcement time to arrive on the scene – while also maintaining law enforcement access to regulated firearms, so law enforcement continues to have the tools they need to respond to a mass shooting event.
Creates Optional Buy-Back Program
  • The GOSAFE Act will prevent stockpiling of these lethal firearms and large capacity magazines, and also ensure no one loses the value of any firearms they currently have, by establishing a voluntary buy-back program, which would allow firearm owners to voluntarily turn over and receive compensation for non-transferrable firearms and magazines as defined by this legislation.

It matters not those firearms would still be covered and regulated bases on this proposal based on they must have a fixed feeding device that holds no more then 10 rounds.

This should be called the Fudd firearms proposal. This will help the antigun movement by gathering Fudd support weakening the ranks of gun owners and the 2nd amendment.
 
I have my own bill I would like to introduce.

it called the Firearms Under Carry Keep Out Fleeing Felons bill and it is a national carry bill reinforces the 2A with the intent of people ensuring their own personal protection with the intent of curbing gun violence in a more direct way then restricting legal owners rights. a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun. This bill also uses a snappy acronym of FUC…..well, I am sure you can figure it out.

This isn't about either. Heinrich isn't stupid; he knows this has exactly zero chance of passing. This is all about the Benjamins. He's running for re-election and he needs to keep those campaign contributions rolling in.

:confused: TMK, this is only accurate if for a handful of towns (or if you count retired adults collecting Social Security).

In New England, Massachusetts (and to a lesser degree, Connecticut) have a higher percentage of residents on SNAP/TANF/Medicaid than does Maine.

The bill won't go anywhere, but it's gained the Maine sponsor endorsements from the Brady Bunch, Demanding Moms, etc.

Yeah, had one tell me I was 'lucky' to have the job I had. I said, yeah, luck. Luck, not living a relatively clean life, staying in some sort of shape, intelligent enough to get through the academy, moved completely across the country with no safety net, yeah, lucky.
