So last night shot the Fin, Fur & Feather (Millis) Pin shoot. This was the 2nd time doing it.
There wasn't too many of us do to the game. So we got 4 ladders in.
What made it so much fun for me was I shot 3 different guns and 3 different calibers!
First ladder was my M&P .40 FS won
Second was borrowed Hk USPc in 9mm won
Third was my Hk P2000sk lost in final at the last shot
Fourth was my M&P .40 using .357sig barrel lost in semi final
Things I learned:
1. Mag swaps across the platforms seemed natural
2. Shooting condition 1 with USPc was tough. The safety lever seemed small and super stiff compared to a 1911. I ended up decocking it and shooting DA first shot in final.
3. .357 Sig was the harder of 3 for me to find the target
4. I feel more confident in carrying the P2000sk and being able to draw and fire. For a subcompact it is very controllable. I am hoping to shoot it at Bass river this Sunday to really put it through the grind.
It is a great time with some great people. There are a few NESers there also. So remember guys, 3rd Thursday of the month. Signup around 7:30PM. Entry $5 for as many ladders as they can fit.
