Just picked a S&W 642 from Mike's Gun Shop in Northboro. Swore I would never pick up an Airweight since the last one I shot damn near broke my thumb, but someone kept giving me .38 special rounds telling me "take them, you'll have a .38 again someday." I think he was priming me for a sale. :)

They are fine little guns. I just got back from putting a few rounds through mine. I'm no recoil junkie and I don't find the Airweight that bad with .38s.
 
great lil gun...it was the first pistol i purchased when i got my license...it goes with me whenever im too lazy to load up a glock mag with 15 rounds...and stays by the bedside at night
