Sig556 $300 rebate

Just saw this online, not sure if it's been mentioned here:

$300 rebate from Sig Sauer for buying a new 556 rifle:

I think I paid ~ $1200 for mine last Feb; Four Seasons has one for $1350

Looks like they are clearing out stock to make room for the 516. IMO $1000 for a 556 is a steal.

If I could get anything other than the SCM in MA I may have be interested in picking up a 2nd one...

I paid 1450 for mine at four seasons which I still thought was a decent deal given many were going for around 1700 at the time. However this was over the summer and it appears the price on them has dropped a bit since then

Are you aware of any specific differences/advantages? Looks the same to me.
