What kind of rail mounts are using? I bought a Midwest Industries for one of my 74's and I love it, it has a quick release lever and it works great.

The one on the 308 is a Saiga/Izhevsk mount I found on ebay for cheap money. The one on the 74 is a PK-A red dot that has it's own mount.

ALG Defense trigger installed in my WASR. Install was pretty straightforward. They cleverly use a roll pin that you file down (if needed) to provide proper engagement with the safety. Otherwise it installs like any other. I used this as an excuse to ditch the shepherds crook and put in a krebs plate.

the pull is lighter and shorter than before (had the Century trigger). You can't really feel where the trigger is going to break (there's no stacking or wall you hit before it breaks). Best to just pull it smoothly like a revolver, I Think. at $50 the price is right.

just tested the pull and was getting a little over 3 1/2 pounds.

it also helps to actually finish the receivers rather than leave them bare metal. whoopsie.
