The fatal shooting took place at about 6:10 p.m. at the Lit, a bar at 128 Ames St. in the section of the city once called "The Lithuanian Village." The Village was once an ethnic Lithuanian neighborhood but is now more diverse and an occasional trouble spot.

Not so sure its a "good" thing. The mall closing will only hurt Brockton not help it. Less property taxes in an already cash strapped city, yeah thats the solution? Part of the problem with brockton is there are no consequences for bad actions. Sit in a courtroom for a day and nobody goes to jail. All suspended sentences, probation, dismissed. The punks know this.
