Nice morning at the range yesterday. Shot my repro Northwest Trade Pistol made by Morris Taylor, Sheffield. It is a .60 smoothbore. Shoots a .595 ball with a .010 patch over 50 grains of Goex 3F black powder. First target is 5 shots at 35 feet and the second is 25 more at the same. I say pretty good for a smoothbore with no rear sight. Would have put a serious crimp in a bad guys day back in the day.

WTF, I hate black powder so pretty sure flintlocks are on the same list but I looked at the pictures and reread several times.
